Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) recognize that our members, stakeholders, and the general public are online connecting with their social circles through social media channels. This provides an opportunity for our members to communicate with each other and with the Blue Cross NC Brand.

We see Social Media as a tool to encourage all North Carolinians to engage with Blue Cross NC, get to know our company, and learn about the many ways we can help you on your path to better health. We also see social media as a way to learn more about the needs and experiences of our members. While individuals are always encouraged to share their experiences within their online communities – we encourage you to do so in a respectful way. To that end, we have established a few Community Guidelines. 


For your safety and privacy, we ask that you, please remember never to post or publicly display your personal health information on Social Media. Keep in mind that our visitors may post opinions in reaction to our materials and that these views reflect the thoughts of the commenter, not of Blue Cross NC. While we request and encourage honesty of opinion from all of those participating in the conversation, we reserve the right to delete any offensive or potentially libelous comments posted by users as well as comments considered to be spam. Please refrain from posting content that includes profanity, obscenity, hate, nudity or discriminatory language. Posting advertisements is also not permitted.
