In the workshop Too Busy for Healthy Food, employees will learn strategies to improve their lifestyle, including the following skills:

  • Making meals in a hurry,
  • Time-saving tips for planning and meal prepping,
  • How to make healthy choices when eating out and
  • Do’s and don’ts for grocery shopping.

Meet Our Facilitators:

Brooke Findley MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian who focuses on practical ways her clients can reach their goals. She helps others make the connection between well-being and nutrition, and has a passion for creating healthy recipes that taste great! She has experience as a diabetes educator, and in developing health and wellness programs. In addition to Too Busy for Healthy Food, she also teaches Live Healthy With Diabetes.

 

 

Gabriel Staub MS, RD, CSSD, CSCS is a Registered Dietitian with a focus on sports nutrition and exercise.  When he isn’t working with athletes and weekend warriors, he is serving as a health coach, strength and conditioning specialist, and a program developer to some of our wellness program offerings. In addition to Too Busy for Healthy Food, he also teaches Live Healthy With Diabetes, Deskercise, and Sitting Workshops.

 

Note: This workshop is available to Blue Cross NC Employer Groups of all sizes, as well as non-clients in NC for an additional cost.
