How to find an in-network Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist

You’re interested in working with a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN), but don’t know how to find one.  Here’s an option to find an in-network LDN. 

Your personal portal, Blue Connect MobileSM

Visit and enter your username and password. 

You will be directed to a new page called ‘Get where you need to go faster in Blue Connect SM

Click ‘Find a Doctor or Facility

This will direct you to a new page

Click the box ‘Find a Doctor or Facility’

This will direct you to a new page

This new page will default to your current location. You can change it at any time. You will have two options: 

Option 1: In the search bar, enter Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist or Dietitian or Nutritionist or Nutrition 

Click on the ‘Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist’ link that populates

NOTE: Do not enter Registered Dietitian. This is an invalid search term

A list of in-network LDNs in your network will appear

The list is populated based on your location

The address, phone numbers, and reviews are shown for each LDN listed

Results can be filtered based on preference, such as gender or accepting new patients

You can click on the name of each LDN listed to view their profile and additional details, such as ratings, reviews, and specialties

Call to schedule an appointment with the LDN

Option 2: click on the blue ‘All Specialties’ link just under the header ‘Find A Doctor or Facility’

An alphabetical list of ‘All Specialties from A to Z’ is provided

Scroll down to ‘Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist’ or Click on the letter ‘L’

Click on ‘Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist’

A list of in-network LDNs in your network will appear

Don’t have a Blue Connect Account?

You will need to create an account, so get your insurance card ready


Click the ‘Register Now’ link

Answer the 2 required questions

Question 1: “Are you registering for yourself or your child?”

Question 2: “Which type of policy do you have?”

Regardless if you select ‘Medical,’ ‘Dental’ or “Medicare’ you will be required to enter the following information from your insurance card (see below)

Hit ‘Continue’ to proceed

Follow the steps outlined above in the ‘Your personal portal known as Blue Connect’
